Musik

Escaping the empty city that's colored in twilight
I walk alone, the sky's connected

Suddenly the wind that blew through, without a sound
Erased your voice
Suddenly in the rain that began to come down, without a sound
The world that has ceased begins to move

Amidst the scenery that passes by
Along with the endlessly repeating seasons
Even if the day comes to laugh and and say
"Nothing changed", I don't care
A road will be created behind me
Searching for a new wind today and tomorrow
I'll set off on a journey, yet again

The multi-colored birds passed by
The dry trees are dampened by the wind
I set off believing that something would change
Even now that day hasn't faded...

Suddenly the wind that blew through, without a sound
Dropped a single dry leaf
Suddenly in the rain that began to come down, without a sound
The world that has ceased begins to move

When I meet the setting sun, that I don't know
I'll find something unchanging
Without a sound, without a sound, on the dry leaves that lie thick
I tread, I tread, I walk

(wind blows, leaf falls, without a sound)

I domhan anseo nach bhfuil anseo
(In a world (here) that is not here)
I chnoic draiochta, ag conai go saor
(In a magical mountain, living freely)
Daoine alainn, tuatha de danann
(Beautiful people, tribe of Danu)
Is Ri Na Sidhe
(Exists the King of the Fairies)
Ri, Ri, Ri Na Sidhe
(The King, The King, The King of the Fairies)

Lord of the Dance, irländsk folkmusik

The Mummer's Dance.

When in the springtime of the year
When the trees are crowned with leaves
When the ash and oak, and the birch and yew
Are dressed in ribbons fair.

When owls call the breathless moon
in the blue veil of the night
When shadows of the trees appear
amidst the lantern('s) light.

We've been rambling all the night
and sometime of this day
Now returning back again
we bring a garland gay.

Who will go down to those shady groves
and summon the shadows there
And tie a ribbon on those sheltering arms
in the springtime of the year.

The sounds of birds seem to fill the wood
and when the fiddler plays
All their voices can be heard
long past their woodland days.

We've been rambling all the night
and sometime of this day
Now returning back again
we bring a garland gay.

And so they linked their hands and danced
'round in circles and in rows
And so the journey of the night descends
when all the shades are gone.

A garland gay we bring you here
And at your door we stand
Here's a sprout, well budded out
The work of our Lord's hand.

We've been rambling all the night
and sometime of this day
Now returning back again
we bring a garland gay.
